System view of Dual TVET MIS: the architecture, drawn without private data
System view. The real screens are private, this is how the system fits together.

Context

Dual TVET places students in companies while they study. Every placement touches state registries and a legal agreement between institutions, which used to mean paper and backlogs.

What I built

  1. 01Co developed the microservices architecture with Spring Boot, PostgreSQL and RabbitMQ.
  2. 02Interoperability APIs with the SDMS and TMIS registries to fetch and validate student and teacher records.
  3. 03A contract engine that drafts, stamps, digitally signs and audits MoUs between institutions and industry partners.

Outcome

  • 60% smaller administrative processing backlog.
